Five years strong: Sure continues headline sponsorship of the Guernsey Marathon

Sure by Beyon is proud to be headline sponsor of the Sure Guernsey Marathon for the fifth year running, connecting the community through sport and creating opportunities for people of all abilities to take part.

The Sure Guernsey Marathon is a key date in the island's sporting calendar, growing in participation year on year and attracting runners from all walks of life, from first-time runners tackling the distance to elite athletes chasing personal bests. Together they bring energy and determination to the island, reinforcing Guernsey's reputation as a distinctive sporting destination and encouraging visitors to experience it for themselves.

Sure's network plays an important role in supporting the event, underpinning race technology that enables accurate timing and real-time tracking throughout the course, helping to ensure a smooth and reliable experience for runners and organisers from start to finish.

The Marathon also continues to make a meaningful impact in the community. In 2025, over £9,000 was raised for the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation and Guernsey Bowel Cancer, with both charities returning as partner charities for the 2026 event.

On race day, Sure colleagues will be based in the Marathon Village, volunteering across key areas including the finish line and medal presentation, and sharing in the atmosphere, stories and achievements that make the event so special.

This year, Sure has partnered with Josh Lewis, a professional triathlete and Sure Sports Ambassador, as he takes on this year’s Sure Guernsey Marathon.

Born and raised in Guernsey, he now competes at an elite level around the world across swim, bike and run. But this time it is all about the run, a pure marathon test on the roads he grew up on.

His journey to race day is being shared on Sure’s Instagram, where you can catch up on his training and preparation so far and tune in on Sunday 19 April for race day updates as we follow his progress around the course.
