The annual Saffery Rotary Walk is taking place on Saturday 5 June and supports 22 fantastic local charities and causes including the Guernsey Voluntary Service, Health Connections and St Martins Primary School. The 39-mile walk is Guernsey’s only round-island walk and provides islanders the opportunity to see its beautiful coastline throughout the day from sunrise to sunset while raising money for local causes.

The Saffery Rotary Walk aims to be as inclusive as possible and encourages individual walkers, relay teams and even a family walk which allows families to walk the final two checkpoints at the same time as everyone else is crossing the finishing line.

Hundreds of walkers take part in the challenge and the Sure Community Foundation each year donates ten 4G routers and SIMs that record the walkers’ times at each checkpoint. These allow walkers to track their times and organisers to keep accurate records of how the walkers are doing.
