2024 Isle of Man MGP

Sure is proud to have been the Official Telecommunications Partner of the Isle of Man’s Manx Grand Prix (MGP) since 2022.

The MGP can track its history back to 1923 when it was established as a chance for amateur riders to experience the thrill of the island’s challenging and world-famous Mountain Course. Amateur riders were finding their opportunities to ride the course more limited by the professionalisation of the Isle of Man TT races, which were becoming ever more popular, and sophisticated.

2023 marked 100 years of the MGP, a significant milestone for the event and one that we we’re pleased to help celebrate. 

Supporting our local community

Sure provides free WiFi throughout the Grandstand and Paddock area so fans can keep up to date with event news, share photos and videos, and check lap times as they’re released – all through our ultra-fast network.

At our pop-up shop in the Grandstand and Strand Street shop in Douglas, we will be selling PAYG SIM packs for visiting race fans. Our PAYG SIM packs come loaded with £5 credit (plus 5GB of data and 500 local mobile minutes and texts, for 7 days) or £10 credit (plus 10GB of data and 1,000 local mobile minutes and texts). We’re also selling the popular pre-tuned AM radio earpieces so spectators can stay connected to all the race commentary and updates around the course.
