Facing the facts about fibre
Questions about fibre broadband? Sure, is hosting fibre drop-in events, called ‘Fibre Fridays’, starting from Friday 14th April in the Douglas store to answer any questions about fibre installation and their fibre services. There will be a dedicated member of staff ready to speak to the public about changing their landline and broadband to fibre.
The Fibre team will be on hand in the Sure shop at 35 Strand Street every Friday from 3pm – 5pm, ready to speak to anyone looking to learn more about fibre broadband, the pricing, what broadband speed they may need, how the installation works, if their current router is suitable for fibre and anything else they might need to know. The staff can help you switch to fibre during the drop-in.
Appointments are also available to the public, which can be booked through the Sure website.
Fibre broadband is being rolled out across the Isle of Man and will reach 99% of properties on island by 2024. Residents can see if their property is fibre-ready by using Sure’s postcode checker.
