Sure goes wild for 2019 with Jersey Zoo

Sure is proud to be one of the supporters of Jersey Zoo’s Go Wild Gorillas project this summer.

The project celebrates 60 years of Jersey Zoo and will see 40 life-sized gorilla sculptures form a public art trail around the island. The gorillas are each sponsored by a local business and have been designed by local and off-island artists.

Sure has been working with Maria Tarrant, an artist who lives in Jersey but is originally from Greece, to create a beautiful gorilla for the trail.

Francesca Vadher, Sure’s head of marketing, said: “Jersey Zoo does amazing work that really puts Jersey on the map and we’re pleased to help them celebrate their 60th anniversary by supporting such an exciting project.

“We’re proud to be part of island life so to take part in a project that encourages islanders and visitors alike to explore Jersey and make the most of the outdoors throughout the summer is really special.

“Maria has produced a fantastic design and we can’t wait to see and share our finished gorilla.”

Starting in July, the trail will be running for three months and the gorilla sculptures will be available to view in various Jersey streets and wild spaces. Keep your eyes peeled for Sure’s contribution. To find out more head to: www.gowildgorillas.org
