During the second lockdown, the local charity Citizens Advice Guernsey appealed to islanders for help after it was forced to temporarily close its offices and consequently the support it offered. The Sure Community Foundation swiftly responded to the charity’s plea, upgrading its telephony and enabling the charity to provide its helpline service remotely during this much needed time.

The Guernsey-based charity is a member of the National Citizens Advice network and offers free, confidential and impartial advice to the Bailiwick over the telephone and at its office located at the Bridge.

Keeping islanders connected is a key priority for Sure and therefore offering support to the Citizens Advice Guernsey during the pandemic was indisputable.
