COVID-19 - update as of 13th March 2020

Sure would like to reassure our customers that our networks have sufficient capacity to support working from home on a mass scale, which is now an increasingly likely scenario for many people.

We have been preparing for this likelihood for some time and recognise the importance of reliable broadband and mobile connectivity to enable home working.

Like everyone in our community, we’re paying close attention to the States of Guernsey’s latest advice regarding the coronavirus. The announcement made yesterday (Thursday 12th March) will likely lead to a rise in islanders working from home and we are well placed to support this.

There is lots of information on our website to support customers who are working from home including troubleshooting tips for broadband and a guide to how to divert your work or home phone.

We realise that this is a worrying time and we are here to support our customers and our island community as best we can.

Please continue to follow the States of Guernsey’s latest advice, which can be found on their website:gov.gg/coronavirus, and be considerate of the vulnerable members of our community at this difficult time.

We’d like to thank all islanders for their ongoing support and our staff for their hard work in keeping the island connected.
