Sure has upgraded customers’ home broadband sockets in Alderney increasing average speeds to almost double what they were before.
With subsidies from the States of Alderney, Sure has been working over the past 10 months to enhance the broadband experience of islanders.
Customers who opted for the free upgrade are also eligible for a free broadband speed boost for two years. Mike Power, Broadband and Home Product Manager at Sure, said: “The take-up rate of this free offer has been great. We are pleased that hundreds of customers are now able to enjoy a better broadband experience.
“We would encourage all customers who have received a letter for the free upgrade to contact our Alderney Exchange on 822200 so that they do not miss out on this opportunity.”
Sure is keen for all islanders to benefit from this joint initiative with the States of Alderney and understands that some homes are only occupied on a seasonal basis, if this is the case then Sure is happy to pre-book a visit during the appropriate time. The States of Alderney subsidy is available for islanders over the next few months.
