Work Experience

Applying for work experience in the telecoms and tech industry presents numerous benefits for students thinking about a career in this world. It not only offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge tech and equipment, but provides fantastic networking opportunities with industry experts and potential mentors, and most certainly helps open doors to future job opportunities at Sure.

We usually recommend work experience placements are applied by students seeking a career within the Telecommunications field, but anyone can apply.

Proud to sponsor Young Enterprise

Young Enterprise has operated in Guernsey since in 1982, providing local students with the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills and learn how to run a business. The scheme is aimed at aspiring business leaders from Guernsey’s secondary schools, ranging in ages from 15 to 19. The students work in teams to set up their own company and make real-life business decisions, and at the end of the year they are asked to present in-front of a judge panel.

As the main sponsor, we are excited to see what each year's cohort of companies will create.
