Installation

If you are renting, please make sure you have the homeowner's permission before your installation.

Orders are completed by email after an engineer visit. Please read these confirmation emails carefully, and remember they may go into your junk or spam folder.

  • All speeds shown are average.

  • Sure’s is the only Channel Islands network capable of full 1Gbps average speeds. Other Channel Islands operator’s networks cannot achieve average speeds above 950Mbps. 

  • One Gigabit Fibre: 1,001Mbps average speed is attainable using Ookla Speed test app built into the router. Test conducted in August 2021. To achieve speeds of 1001 Mbps (1Gbps) or higher you will need to use a router capable of speeds greater than 1Gbps (eg a 2.5Gbps router) to receive that speed as the average. Your service will still work with a 1Gbps router, but your average speed will be around 950 Mbps.

  • There is no connection charge to switch to fibre broadband. Your monthly charge depends on which Sure Fibre Broadband and Home Gateway (Router) you choose. Home Gateway (Router) charges over 24 months are: Basic: £3.50 per month, Standard WiFi 6: £4.50 per month. Router charges automatically stop after 24 months.

  • Prices include Sure Home phone (landline).

  • *Charges for non-standard installation are £32.50 per half hour, plus cost of materials, which will be defined at the time of survey by our engineer and communicated to you.
